“What is it, son?” His mother placed a hand over his shoulder, reassuring him that he could share anything with her, yet there was a small part of her that wanted the news to be positive. 

Taehyung paused for a moment, as his gaze scanned her eyes, just by a glance he could tell that she was scared to face gloomy news from him.

“I was wondering what could be a wonderful gift for y/n,” Taehyung completed his statement, and upon hearing that a heavy sigh of relief escaped his mother’s lips.
